I guess you get what you pay for. These were the most affordable items I could find. The shade of gold does not look like gold plated, but some other material entirely that does not seam very durable. I bought three different items as gift and they were all shoved in one pouch inside one gift box with tacky labeled plastic bags. These shipping was rather slow, so I was not able to have time to find other jewelry boxes to gift these with.
