Chain is Longer than Expected

First of all, the preorder took so long to fill. The company kept changing the estimate of the shipping every single day, to even saying the next day it would ship, which was annoying and unexpected. March 2nd is when I placed the preorder, and I received it today, May 13th. It has also increased in price by 50%, so I’m glad I got it when I did. The chain is a LOT longer than the pic shown in the listing on the ear. The chain length was not described accurately in the listing. It is a cute piece, we’ll see how it wears since this is my first 14k gold earring from this company. The hoop is pretty small so if you have a thick cartilage, it may not fit in there. Overall, I’m disappointed that the chain looks so long. It hangs down to a little lower than parallel to my ear canal opening.
